without light, we could not see light. we could not appreciate beauty. imagine if the world was always covered in darkness.. no flashlights, no electricity, nothing but darkness. we wouldn’t know color.. or what the sunrise looked like, or how a peacock’s feathers were. light is life. so it is with the soul. all we know is darkness. there is no beauty, no color, no life without light. but there can be light. Jesus is that light.. and he will shine in our hearts, bring light and color, bring life! he is the fountain of life. a fountain? bursting, brimming, flowing, splashing, overwhelming. not just a flashlight of life. a fountain.
