It’s a GIVEAWAY!
I want to gift you with something that is very special to my heart. Light Gives Heat is a company that sells hand beaded jewelry from Uganda. They work with talented artists who create these beautiful necklaces, bracelets, earrings and bags from recycled products. LGH creates work for these beautiful women so they can raise their families with the food, shelter and schooling they need. Every since I discovered them a few months back I’ve completely fallen in love with their work and the jewelry. And so for the giveaway I would love to share some with you!

Last Friday night, John and I had the incredible blessing to go to see the a showing of MOVING ON, the film that tells the story of how LGH was born. We got to meet and talk with Dave and Morgan Hansow, the founders of LGH and came away so inspired. Life isn’t meant to be played safe, but to take big risks for God, to step out of our comfort zones and confront the war our world is tangled in. Are you still giving away jewelry? I am so interested in this…the Church I work for is hosting the Ugandan Orphans Childrens Choir on July 10 2013. I am helping with all the arrangement right now and looking for other things that we could do to raise awareness and help these children.
